Last Song Of Summer

We continue on our trail through the Elizabeth A. Morton Wildlife Refuge and are rewarded with our very own private sunset beach.  The perfect place to sit in the sand and read:

"Hold on to your dreams for they are, in a sense, the stuff of which reality is made. It is through our dreams that we maintain the possibility of a better; more meaningful life. Even when reality imposes limits, our dreams continue to offer us a parade of opportunities.

Life has a way of becoming pretty mundane, even oppressively dull, if we succumb to it as it happens. But if we continue to enhance it with dreams, they can keep us stimulated and hopeful and striving . . .

I had wild dreams of adventures in exotic lands, exploits of daring, scaling mountains, forging seas, canoeing rivers. Though I was assured that such a life was only for the special few, I refused to accept it as impossible for me. I am happy to report to all the skeptics around, that every dream I have ever had, I have made reality. And I create new dreams everyday."- Leo Buscaglia, Born for Love

This place has fueled my dreams and imagination. I am forever grateful.
