TEKIN | Art Gallery Exhibit

Thursday March 9th 2017 - Commemorated the opening of my first art gallery exhibit in collaboration with my dear friend and talented creative partner, Keziban Barry. During the event we premiered TEKIN art film (above) in conjunction with 15 pieces on display now through March 26th at Blank Space (30 Gansevoort St.)

Last Thursday was one of those special evenings you live and hustle years in NYC to enjoy and relish in, a feeling to cherish—because although fleeting—it is a stark reminder of the magic in making dreams and visions come to life, blurring the lines of what is possible when you put all of yourself into something, anything.

At the heart of this work is the desire to tap into the intangible, stripping away fear and discomfort in pursuit of capturing that single moment which defines all the rest—where all the elements align through a form of organized serendipity, which challenge and question what is real.

Thank you to everyone who came out in support of the opening, your energy and reflection on the pieces made my night! And so much gratitude to Nana Lee, for fostering a creative and positive environment, gently guiding in the direction of our intuitions, thank you for believing in us and for the honor of this opportunity!!For information about the pieces being shown find TEKIN's Artsy page here.
