. . . Hawaii had a special way of making me feel like Alice in Wonderland, therefore what better attire to frolic amongst rainbow trees and skies than a vintage, floral, baby-doll frock. Recently I walked down Bleecker in the West Village and noticed a similar style and print in the storefront of Marc Jacobs. This colorful muumuu happened to be the perfect wardrobe for wandering about a meadow of eucalyptus trees—an enchanting little oasis we stumbled upon by chance on our journey to Hana. Never will you want to hug a tree more than when you are in the presence of these gentle giants of colorful wonder.

A few days later we arrived at the St. Regis Princeville Kauai and were greeted with the most beautiful 'Pot O' Gold' rainbow I have ever laid eyes on, the kind of rainbow you only see in your imagination . . . then again, is the rainbow not in the eye of the beholder? For those of you who want to get scientific about the colors of rainbow, listen to this. "To what extent is color a physical thing in the physical world, and to what extent is it created in our minds?"
