Alice In Wonderland
This Self-Portrait one-piece is my favorite Lederhosen inspired outfit of the moment. It encompasses everything I long for in country summertime appeal: Denim, one-piece jumpsuit, playful and right at the forefront of trendy with its ruffled sleeves and Lederhosen influenced form. I love the honeycomb detail in the top, matched perfectly with Tamara Mellon's honeycomb heels, which seemed quite fitting since there is a honey bee farm in the meadow. To accessorize add a raw cut sleeveless linen vest (allowing the denim ruffles to show through) a daisy ring and a pair of round shades.

At the bottom of this post I've included some personal words about this meadow and the special time I spent here with someone who meant the world to me, who is no longer here.
I’ll be waiting here for you with Yellow flowers in hand, Simply and purposefully
like the bees buzzing to and from the hive, we all have a pre-determined duty to fulfill.
Your ashes are nutrients, your death gave life to beauty.
If life is living alone inside our minds, is death being connected to all?
“universal intimacy"
Sad that we can never truly understand a feeling outside our Self.
The answers lie within us, they lied within You.
Born of a curiosity, an innate desire “To Know” . . . . always searching.
Your wisdom, beyond words.
The earth longs for each and every one of us,
Will is all we have to fight against it, the only thing that sets us apart.
The same Will that brought us together, to this beautiful place.
Can we ever really understand what it is like to be someone else
—to have lived someone else’s happiness and sadness and everything in between?
The only thing binding us is our blind compassion, and love for one another.
Like the wildflowers, she worshiped the Sun.
Stoic and royal in posture, yet aggressive, strong, confident and brave. Loyal to only one.
I will never stop searching for You.
In the soft strawberry rays of a sunset, I glide into the beam to be close.
So bright that my eyes are closed and open
like the mystical beam of light that found its way through building, brush and blinds directly on to my face the morning you left
a light so intense, I could see billions of sparkling particles
Like a knife it cut into the dark space with purpose.
You showed me that something is there
that cannot be seen or explained by the passive eye.
Your final lesson.
