NYFW Day 1 was a unique combination of rainy, overcast and humid. This light white trench coat was a no brain-er: Airy enough to stay cool and crisp white to brighten the day. I find a tied up trench coat with nothing but a lace skirt or pants underneath to be quite mysterious and seductive. Add a little belt bondage around the neck and you're good to go! This look took me from the M. Martin presentation to the Marissa Webb show and finally to the front row of one of my favorite shows of NYFW, Tome NYC, where I felt at home in my black lace Tome pants from the F/W 15 collection. Literally, one of the first looks down the runway was a white trench and black pants!
