Kavador Girl
I am thrilled to announce my partnership with the newly launched Kavador.com, a destination for unique one-of-a-kind fine jewelry from the hidden treasure chests of jewelers around the country. These are special pieces that may have otherwise gone unseen and under appreciated, possibly never finding the home they deserve, until now.
Today I officially begin my journey as a Kavador Girl because I so strongly believe in its mission of raising the level of taste, style and most of all uniqueness into everyday life, one of the most important themes woven throughout The Eye Travels. However that is not the only reason I have chosen to align with Kavador, it is the inspirational female entrepreneurs behind its creation that have truly captured my attention, these are women who truly support other women, they know that together we can accomplish so much more than on our own, and this is one thing I stand by. Together we support the strong, independent and multifaceted woman who wants to stand out from the crowd and live her dreams on her own terms, never walking to the beat of someone else's drum or following the trends because everyone else is doing it.
She is a woman who creates her own path and is a leader—knowing what she wants and going after those goals—never listening to those who try to get in her way or belittle her aspirations. She's not afraid to lead a nontraditional life, tiptoeing outside the social norms is where is she most comfortable and confident. Most of all, she strives to empower others to do the same thing, and live their truth, whatever that may be.
I know that most people don't have the time, energy or finances to style themselves on a daily basis, yet maybe it’s just one simple change that you make to your appearance that reflects who you are and what you stand for. Whether it be your hairstyle, a particular silhouette or a color that others associate with you. And now, a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry. Stand out and wear your personality, because there will never be another you.
On the topic of empowering women I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you about a charity that has piqued my interest called She’s The First, which provides scholarships to young ladies in low income countries. Giving those girls who may have never had the opportunity to further their education the chance to receive the training they need/deserve to cultivate their natural talents into positively influencing and becoming leaders in their community and beyond. It was an inspiring young woman who came up with the idea to start a social media driven campaign to encourage millennial women to fundraise for the education of girls in low income countries.
Her name is Tammy Tibbetts, a role model and leader (under 30!), exactly the type of woman I want to showcase and support on The Eye Travels.
