I hope you enjoy this dash of James Bond-esque glamour to ring in the New Year, The Eye Travels-style. And last night's New Year's Eve festivities at the Sydney Opera House would fall into the same spectacularly glamorous category. A front row seat at the most talked about NYE firework display in the world and the unique opportunity (as an American) to be the first to ring in the new year! Absolutely epic. Yet spectacle aside, all of it would be trivial if I didn't have my love/inspiration/light of my life standing beside me. It don't make no sense unless I'm doing it with PTO.

Giving up on life and love is immature, find your purpose through having the strength to show your heart and wear it on your sleeve, for it is the key to making a positive impact on the world. Pursue those endeavors in which you are passionate about with everything you've got.

If you try to be the best at something to make everyone happy or are in search of recognition from others you will not be pleased, as you will be greeted with disappointment. You will never get the recognition you desire from others because we (humans) are far from perfect. You must find love, happiness and wholeness from within and/or from a higher, greater force. Never forget: It is impossible to please everyone.
