It’s a bold style and emits confidence and strength, which was something the majority of designers wanted to portray in their collections this season. It’s awfully chic. And makes for quite a polished and modern aesthetic.
If you want the slicked back look without the 'wet' try using a leave in conditioner like this one from Klorane . It will leave your hair frizz free, smooth AND you will be deep conditioning all day! Make sure to brush your hair back away from your face and behind the ears when applying. Using a brush with thick bristles like this is best for achieving a soft finish. If you want a slicked back 'wet' look use a fine tooth comb and a silver dollar's worth of Oribe Rock Hard gel when brushing back your locks. Skip the hair dryer. Texturize the ends of your hair with a wave spray like this one from Ouai and finish with a hairspray.
