Cape Town Editorial
Shortly after arriving in Cape Town I had the opportunity to work with photographer Sven Kiristen, model Xandie Goosen and makeup/hair artist Colleen van Rensberg—all South African natives. We shot a low-key editorial at a gorgeous home overlooking Table Mountain—an inclement weather plan to our original idea of shooting in the great outdoors of Cape Town's surreal natural beauty. However, that is always one of the most interesting components of 'guerilla editorial'—the need to improvise and adapt to your surrounds. All in all spending the day with this wonderful team proved to be an beautiful way of immersing into South African culture.
