One day in Bangkok to-do list: Wake up and eat at least 1 mango (with rice and coconut milk is preferred) and 3 or 4 rambutans. As you get dressed keep in mind you must have shoulders and legs covered in order to enter some temples. Bring wide brim hat and/or umbrella and selfie stick, if you want to fit in. Visit temples in the morning (Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Suthat & Wat Ratchabophit) For a snack/lunch eat delicious street food (try Yotse), if you don’t eat pork or meat this could be a problem. Getting on an all pork diet in Bangkok is wise. Walk through markets and pick up a jar of tiger balm to take home, great for bug bites and sore muscles. Stop at mango stand and eat another mango, wash down with fresh coconut water. I recommend staying at The Siam, if not, you should at least stop there, the design is stunning. From The Siam, take water taxi around 5pm down the Chao Praya river to Sala Rattanakosin, have a drink and watch the sunset from the rooftop bar. The 365 view at night is gorgeous. Walk to a restaurant called Err a few streets away and have dinner (unfortunately we couldn’t because they’re closed on Monday) After dinner walk through 24 hr. Flower Market, and last take tuk tuk home.
