Trend Report: The Golden Gown

Fashion is something you NEED to touch. It must feel good. It needs to breathe and move with you because the clothing you wear is a representation of who you are. And who doesn't want to touch Gold . . .A trend that was very clear for the FW17 season (and continues to come down the runways year after year) is that of the golden gown. The current 2021 runways are more golden than ever, and this begs the question: Is the golden gown less a trend and more a classic?A gold dress signifies a woman of power. She stands up for her rights and for equality. Whether it was inspired by chainmail at Paco Rabanne, casual luxe at Louis Vuitton, melted gold gowns from Jason Wu or red carpet ready from Naeem Khan, there was something for everyone.
